Client awarded £3.2 Million in assault claim
In July 2012 174 Law successfully secured an award of £3.2 million pounds for a client injured in an assault when she was a young baby.
The award from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority included awards for pain and suffering (usually known as general damages) as well as substantial sums for past and future care which should ensure the client receives all the specialist care she requires for life.
The case was complicated and needed substantial input from various experts requiring a collaborative approach as well as careful and considered handling by our personal injury department headed by Martyn Green.
