This week, begining 23 November 2015, is Dispute Resolution Week in the UK.
There are many ways in which to share an Orange. You may think this is a strange statement to make. However whilst two chefs may argue over the last orange left in the kitchen demanding they both need it for their signature dish. If they sat down and talked about the issue they would realise that actually one only needs the Peel whilst the other needs the juice and by working together they can get an amicable solution.
At 174 Law we like to work with our clients to focus on the area of Family Breakdown in issue and look holistically at the problem to find the most appropriate way for them to find a solution to their problem whilst highlighting the impact on children of ongoing, unresolved conflict ie how to find a way to share the orange.
174 Law is committed to working in partnership with the charity Kids in the Middle on our campaign, VOICES IN THE MIDDLE to ensure that children affected by their parent’s separation are given a voice. We work with families including children to help to ease the transition to their new world were mum and dad are living separately so as to minimise the impact of this upon them.
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE WEBSITE, ‘VOICES IN THE MIDDLE’ WHERE CHILDREN CAN HAVE THEIR SAY ABOUT THE IMPACT PARENTAL CONFLICT IS HAVING ON THEM AND THEIR LIVES
By doing this we hope to promote a greater awareness of the impact on children of their parent’s ongoing and unresolved conflict.
